The National Childminding Association

The National Childminding Association came 24th in a list of the top 100 best small companies to work for by the Sunday Times, published in the paper on 5 March. Its staff were interviewed by a team from Best Companies, which carried out independent research supported by the Department of Trade and Industry. The report said that staff enjoyed working for NCMA because they believed in its values and principles. Its flexible working policy and good career progression were praised. Nursery group Child Base was at no 74 in the survey, and was cited as 'best for training and development'. Good communication from senior management was rated as the company's most striking feature.
