The Sound Foundation Handbook

(Photograph) - Children's author Sue Nicholls leads three- to five-year-olds through activities from The Sound Foundation Handbook at the Croydon Clocktower in Surrey. The book for Foundation Stage practitioners features a range of musical activities that encourage movement and actions. It was written by early years practitioners in Croydon and edited by primary music consultant Helen Bretherwick, and is the result of a joint project between Croydon Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership and Croydon Music Service. The book plus a CD is available for 25 (plus p&p) from Croydon Early Years and Childcare Section on 020 8655 1299.
