Three-headed frog with six legs

(Photograph) - It's not every day a three-headed frog with six legs hops into a nursery, but it did at the Green Umbrella Day Nursery in Weston super Mare on 4 March. Children found the mutant amphibian on the nursery driveway. Nursery manager Rebecca Twinn said, 'At first we thought it was three frogs huddled together. The children thought it was fantastic.' It was put in a large storage container with pond water and weed, but escaped when the lid was removed. Ms Twinn said, 'The frog hopped off into a garden around the nursery. The children miss it and hope it will make a return visit.'. Photograph by Photo South West News Service
