Remember how you irritated your parents as a teenager? Well, now it's your turn to deal with the perplexing behaviour of a new phenomenon - the between agers. 'Just look at that,' said her playworker, 'they are just like teenagers at ten now.' Sally's ponytail swung from the back of her cap as she made a beeline for 11-year-old Tom who was leaning against a wall trying to look equally 'cool'.The two continued to chat to each other as the playworkers began activities. 'Are you joining us?' called one cheerily. Sally tossed her head and looked away sulkily. Tom curled his lip, stared at the floor and began to scuff imaginary dirt.
