Training for engaging with men

01 March 2010

Fathers Plus offers a range of training programmes designed to help those working in children's services engage more effectively with men.

Its half-day workshops include 'Recruiting men into services - How to do it', a practical session that outlines strategies for attracting men into childcare job roles. This complements its newly developed and extended course, 'Including Men in Organisations', which provides training days, workshops and consultations to boost male recruitment across the whole spectrum of children's services.

Other half-day workshops include 'Learning through Play with Dad', focusing on how 'fathers become meaningful and special to their children through play', and 'Dealing with Disagreements: A man's view', which aims to address particular issues men may face and how better outcomes can be achieved for their children and themselves.
