Tree of life

We always put up Christmas trees, so, with Easter coming up, why not celebrate spring by making an Easter tree to decorate and display?

Making the tree

You will need:

a terracotta flower pot; Plasticene; several branched twigs; tissue paper in spring colours (white, yellow, pale pink, pale green); white card; felt pens; scissors; PVA glue

What to do:

Put a large lump of Plasticene in the pot and stick the twigs into the Plasticene to make an attractive arrangement. Crumple up pieces of tissue paper and place them inside the pot to hide the Plasticene. Decorate the pot by sticking on cut-out felt pen drawings of chicks and Easter eggs.
