(Photograph) - A budding Gordon Brown gives the thumbs up to the Government's media campaign to highlight the new Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit. The national TV campaign began in September with ads encouraging parents to apply. The Government says that nine out of ten families with children will benefit so it is vital for everyone to know what they are entitled to. The tax credit is good news for out-of-school clubs as they can sustain more places by passing on more realistic fees in the knowledge that parents will receive financial help. Clubs can pick up leaflets and application forms in bulk to give to parents at their local post office or by ringing 01772 235623 or e-mailing taxcredits.claimform@ir.gsi.gov.uk.
