Understanding cultural aspects of safeguarding

Careers & Training
Practitioners can get to grips with safeguarding issues arising from different world cultures by completing a new training module, Cultural Awareness, delivered by the Children Safeguarding e-Academy.

Part of Virtual College, based in West Yorkshire, the e-Academy's online course gives learners an understanding of types of abuse which stem from culture-related traditions, rituals and beliefs.
