A new website that puts families in touch with each other so that they can share their childcare needs has been launched by a director of Tinies Childcare, with support from the Daycare Trust. Parents who log on and register at www.sharingcare.co.uk can do a postcode search to find other families willing to share their childcare. Founder Amanda Coxen said, 'Every week hundreds of parents come to agencies to hire a nanny. Many would like to find another local family with children of a similar age with whom they could share their nanny to make it affordable. Sharingcare.co.uk puts parents together to arrange and share their childcare.'
