Letter: Size matters

In response to the letter about the new size and format of Nursery World (15 November), I have been a reader of the magazine for more than 30 years and have worked in early years education during this time.

Nursery World has always proved to be a valuable resource for helping with staff training, imparting information to colleagues and assisting with CPD issues. I find the new layout is still absolutely fine for this, but I would agree that the new size is frustrating, because it is not sized to A3 or A4 for photocopying and laminating important and relevant items. For example, in the past we have particularly enjoyed using the Parents' Guides with families in our setting.

My best wishes to all at a magazine I am still enjoying.

Editor's note: We are aiming to produce a clearer and more accessible magazine and the larger size makes this possible. However, we welcome readers' comments on the new format.
