Children at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Bedford have been celebrating one of their favourite books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, as part of the company’s annual Book Week.
As well as reading the Eric Carle book, first published in 1969, the children made bread caterpillars and butterfly cakes, learned about the lifecycle of a butterfly and enjoyed minibeast hunts.
