Children at Hopscotch Outdoor Day Nursery in Kelvedon Hatch have been attending weekly swimming lessons and learning about safety in the water.
The sessions consist of singing nursery rhymes, clapping, splashing and playing games. Parent helper Linda said, ‘The children are so lucky to be able to do this while at nursery and I don’t think there is anywhere else in Brentwood which offers this activity at all. It has given my son much more confidence to be able to go in the water with his friends, and he especially loves it when it is a swimming day.’
