Buttercups Nursery in Chalfont St Peter has been bridging the generation gap with regular visits to the nearby residential care home, Chalfont Lodge.
The residents were treated to an informal concert of nursery rhyme favourites when the children and their parents came on a recent visit. One child said, ‘All the ladies at the old people’s home were happy and they were clapping hands!’
