Busy Bears Nursery in Durham had a special visit from members of the local police intercept team, who spoke to children about how to stay safe.
Part of the talk was about wearing seatbelts when travelling in vehicles, and the children learned to say ‘stop, you must wear your seatbelt’ before the vehicle moves. They were also given the opportunity to explore the police car and the police’s protective clothing, including handcuffs, walkie-talkies and vests.
