Matrix of quality

The Community Access Childcare and Early Years team in the Londonborough of Enfield have received recognition for delivering qualityservices to local families and childcare professionals. They wereawarded the Matrix standard, which is the quality standard forinformation, advice and guidance services that is awarded to those whodemonstrate that they involve their clients and work with partners todeliver continually improving provision. Acting head of service SandieGardner said, 'As a service committed to putting Enfield families first,we knew that we had to talk to parents and childcare providers andlisten to their views. We found that by joining up our services into oneintegrated team we were in a stronger position to respond to their needsand provide advice, guidance and training.'
