A book containing important messages for children aged four to six about heart health has been produced by the British Heart Foundation. The Big Heart Book is a colourful A2 book covering the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and supports the Scottish National Guidelines. It covers science, health education and literacy, and has bright colour pages for classroom discussion with teachers' notes and photocopiable activity sheets. The book aims to introduce healthy heart messages and encourage children to live healthily, while also helping teachers to meet the teaching goals.
