On the first morning Jasmine woke extremely early, and consequently she and her mum were on the beach by 7am! Jasmine loved the sand. She walked and ran confidently across it, enjoying sifting sand through her hands, and filling up and emptying out her dumper truck over and over again. Jasmine continues to be interested in birds, and all seagulls were referred to as ducks. She corrected her mum firmly whenever she got it wrong!
Jasmine was fascinated by the life-size models around the holiday complex, particularly Noddy and the Policeman, whom she hugged whenever she went past. She also enjoyed the music sessions, dancing contentedly to both live and recorded music at every opportunity. Jasmine has always enjoyed music, and eats her meals best when she is listening to tapes or to the radio. She will often stand and bob up and down rhythmically in front of the music system to indicate that she would like it turned on, pointing and giving an urgent vocalisation if nobody responds.
