Having been fitted for her first pair of shoes at 14 months, Jasmine soon discovered the delights of 'stomping' her feet for the sound they made. She has gradually shown more interest in clothing as well as the art of undressing. She takes clothes off 'Freddy', her dressed doll, with great concentration and determination, giggling when they are all off. For several months she has enjoyed removing her socks, and has now begun taking off her pyjamas as soon as she wakes up. Her mother often finds her semi-naked in her cot. On more than one occasion she has also managed to remove her nappy! Jasmine shows increasing understanding of her world. She has a strap with 'poppers' that keeps items safely attached to her pushchair, and she positions the strap appropriately when she sits in it, waiting for someone to secure the cup or toy. She enjoys the garden at Granny's house, picking up leaves to look at them closely, and touching the flowers very gently.

She places her nose to them as shown by her family, but does not sniff them yet.

Physically, Jasmine continues to develop well. She uses her arms less often to balance herself as she walks. She climbs up the garden steps quite well and is increasingly confident in getting down them.
