A month in the life of Jasmine Maya

This month has seen a significant increase in Jasmine's interest in dressing and undressing herself. She is encouraged by her parents to do as much as she can and she responds well to their requests. She can pull her trousers on over her feet, but sometimes gets both legs stuck in one and needs rescuing. She tries hard to put tops on over her head with a good ratio of success, but she can usually only manage one sleeve. On one occasion this month Jasmine was observed rummaging in the laundry basket and she proceeded to put on all the clothes she could find - six outfits in total, one on top of the other! Some tops were just hanging around her neck while others she had managed to get one arm into. Jasmine was clearly very pleased with herself.

Jasmine has begun to call 'miaow, miaow, miaow' whenever she sees a cat.

She refers to sheep as 'baa' and her doll as 'beebee'. If the cats run away from her, or if she is looking for something she says, 'wheresegone? wheresegone?' - always repeating the words twice.
