Adam is a confident and competent learner. His nursery learning and experiences built on his strengths and interests. So what factors have helped to foster this early success?
From the age of two, Adam attended the nursery in his local children's centre. His mum Trish, whose comments are recorded in the film 'Celebrating Young Children and those who live and work with them', says that because she was confident in the quality of education and care at the nursery she could 'go to work with an easy mind'.
She immediately noticed how well Adam's learning and development were progressing and that the nursery's priority for Adam was to 'give him lots of confidence'.
