Allergy cure allows family reunion

Ablind grandfather has been able to visit his grandson for the first time in five years because a treatment has been found for the boy's allergy to his guide dog. Brian Lowton-Smith and grandson Sean took part in an in-house trial for Outright Allergy Relief, a solution that, if applied to a pet's fur, can prevent the sneezing or rashes associated with pet allergy. Allergic reaction to a pet - usually cats and dogs - is caused by small particles of dander in the animal's coat. Dander is a microscopic cocktail of skin and saliva, laced with bacteria, formed when pets groom themselves.
