Big Picture: Gromit takes over Bristol

Provision
Nurseries in Bristol have been hunting down Gromit sculptures around the city, as part of public arts trail Gromit Unleashed.

Amelia Jebelli, nursery manager at Clifton Tots, said, 'The children loved it, they've gone Gromit-crazy!'

Eighty giant sculptures have been customised by well-known and local artists and celebrities, including Quentin Blake, Cath Kidston, Harry Hill and Nick Park.

Gromit Unleashed launched in July in aid of Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal for Bristol Children's Hospital.

From 18-22 September they will be shown at The Greatest Dog Show on Earth at the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol. They will be auctioned on 3 October (www.gromitunleashed.org.uk/auction).
