Founders Jonathan Brewer, Pim Piers and Will Hurn plan to recruit a director of childcare to help them roll out the new service and they aim to have their first centre up and running in the next two years. They say that BlueTree will work in partnership with existing providers who will run clubs on a day-to-day basis while drawing a salary from the company.
BlueTree Centres will cater for five- to 11- year-olds, offering a choice of activities including IT, sport, art and music, and will be based in premises such as under-used public buildings and derelict pavilions, redeveloped as appropriate, rather than schools. For more information send an e-mail to enquiries@bluetreecentres.com.
