Care Commission staff, local authority workers, development and support staff, trainers and heads of childcare services will be turning out in force at a series of seminars on the new national standards for early education and childcare, which start on 28 May at Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh. The seminars are organised by the Rolling Out the Standards project, supported by a joint project group including the Scottish Pre-School Play Association, the Scottish Out-of-School Care Network and the Scottish Childminding Association. Further seminars will be held at: Dewars Ice Rink, Perth, on 29 May; Dumfries & Galloway College, Dumfries, on 7 June; Aberdeen Football Club on 10 June; the Thistle Hotel, Inverness, on 12 June; and Hampden Football Stadium, Glasgow, on 21 June.
