Tax credits for employing an approved nanny will be extended to parents in Wales when the Childcare Approval Scheme becomes operational there from 6 April. According to Sure Start, there were more than 3,000 approved nannies in England by September 2006. Nester Primecare Services will deliver the scheme on behalf of the Welsh Assembly government, as it does in England.
