A time of change

During winter in Britain the days get shorter and the weather gets colder. You could discuss with the children how we use technology to control these conditions in order to make life comfortable. Many homes have central heating controlled through thermostats and timers, and lights are switched on for longer. Ask children to find out about how their own homes are lit and heated.
