Introduction to play therapy

Using a combination of theory, discussion and experiential work, this two-and-a-half day course by Children In Scotland aims to introduce participants to the theory and application of play therapy. The workshops are designed for professionals interested in learning about therapeutic ways of working with children, and those childcare practitioners who wish to increase their understanding of play therapy. Continues on 29 September and 31 October.

An introduction to Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

Glenys Jones, lecturer in autism at the University of Birmingham, leads this course by the Centre for Education and Training in Autism (CETA), which considers some of the issues involved in evaluating intervention in ASD and identifies key elements for effective interventions.
