Ethnic questions

I suspect that this must have been a mistake, but in this week's In Stock (8 February, fourth item), you refer to 'minority and ethnic families'. I don't know if you meant to write 'minority ethnic families' which would have been fine but, if not, who/which are 'ethnic' families? We all have an ethnicity, whoever we are - so 'ethnic families' is meaningless. Unfortunately it is often used (wrongly) to mean 'black or other minority ethnic'. As this misunderstanding of the term is so common, I wonder if it would be possible to draw this to the attention of Nursery World writers and contributors and remain aware of it.
