Child development opportunities

* To talk about fires in places like forests and imagine the sensations.

* To observe differences in physical features and use them to make groups.

* To develop imagination.

* To listen carefully to instructions and follow them.

How to play

* Draw a large circle on the floor or ground outside to make a 'home'.

* Ask children to stand in the 'home', which represents safety.

* Ask the children to get into groups with fair hair, brown hair or black hair.

* Explain that in front of the house there is a forest. You are going for a walk in the forest and you will ask the groups to join you.
