Half term plans

* Our next half-term programme is set to include a 'Super Scooby-Doo Day'. The children will be cooking their own 'scooby snacks' in the form of biscuits. They'll be making 'puppy puppets' and, as the programmes states, they will have the chance to 'put on a performance featuring their detective dogs'.

A dog trainer will visit to outline how real-life canine stars are trained for television and film work. Two springer spaniels will also be coming in - they are 18 months old now, but first visited the club as ten-week-old puppies, and the club has been following their progress ever since.

* A 'Swamp' theme will also feature. The children can create creatures from junk, and then play with them in our 'swamp' - a water tray that the children will be filling with jelly and other slimy materials! We'll be playing 'crocodile catch' (our own adaptation of the original tag game that involves appropriate snapping actions!) and making alligator masks.
