Harvey Road Day Nursery

(Photograph) - Children from Harvey Road Day Nursery in Cambridge donned traditional African costumes to celebrate Black History Month, which is held every October in Britain. A representative from Cambridge's Archaeology and Anthropology Museum provided a selection of African artefacts and tribal costumes, and the children listened to music from the continent. They also ate traditional food, learnt about African animals and painted maps of the continent. Foundation stage co-ordinator, Suzanne Baldry, said, 'The children and staff had a fantastic day.'
