The 100th person in Europe to be employed by Bright Horizons Family Solutions was given a surprise welcome last week. Laura Hart, who joined the company as a nursery nurse at the Hectors House Nursery in Glasgow, was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a 'goody bag' filled with gifts. Sharon Williams, head of human resources in the UK, said, 'At Bright Horizons, we recognise the importance of showing our appreciation for the valuable work and effort that is put into the nurseries by our staff. Recruitment and retention of committed staff is a high priority during this period of growth.'
