I CAN, the educational charity for children with speech and language difficulties, has been awarded 70,900 by the Department of Health to share good practice in delivering education, speech and language therapy to children in their early years. I CAN has also teamed up with BT's Advanced Communications Technology Centre to publish Teach Speech Guidelines to boost access to speech and language therapy in mainstream schools using video-conferencing technology.
