The Scottish Pre-School Play Association has developed a series of packs of model written policies for playgroups. Issues they cover include admissions and settling in procedures, curriculum, behaviour management, special needs, staff development and child protection. The SPPA recommends that the policies should be displayed and copies given to parents with their parents' information package as they join the group. Contact 0141 221 4148 for details.
