Inter-agency working in Scotland was the agenda for a two-day conference, 'Joining up children's services', held last wek in Aberdeen and organised by Children in Scotland. An integrated electronic children's services record in Aberdeen which takes key data from a child's health, social work and education records was hailed as an example of good practice. Bronwen Cohen, chief executive of Children in Scotland, told the conference, 'To date, services have predominantly been joined up around the needs of the most vulnerable children. The challenge now is to have child and family-centred services for all children.'
