Jack and Chloe continued to top the charts last year for the most popular names for babies born in the UK, according to the Office for National Statistics. The top ten boys' names in 2001 were Jack, Thomas, Joshua, James, Daniel, Harry, Samuel, Joseph, Matthew and Lewis. Chloe, Emily, Megan, Jessica, Sophie, Lauren, Charlotte, Hannah, Olivia and Lucy led the choices for girls.
