There's plenty of reasons for a party, and plenty of craft activities to help your celebrations go with a bang - without the fireworks!

Halloween

If the children help make the decorations, they will get double the enjoyment from the party. Choose simple techniques such as potato printing, and even the youngest can join in.

You will need:

Orange, black and white card; scrap card (for making templates); black paint; lime green or fluorescent green paint; a large potato and a small oval-shaped potato; a sharp knife (for adult use only); two flat saucers What to do:
