Children are being asked by the police to spy on their parents in the car, said the Daily Express. Police in Cleveland, Teesside, are recruiting children to be 'Seat Belt Sheriffs' and shame drivers into wearing seat belts and not talking on their mobile phones.
In the United States almost 300,000 children under seven are too overweight to fit in a car booster seat, according to the Daily Mail.
The BBC is planning to bring in a Blue Peter swipe card to replace its badges. The trade of fake badges on the internet led to Blue Peter privileges being abused, said The Guardian.
