A protest group has criticised a Sesame Street programme on DVD aimed at children under two, said BBCNews. The Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood claims that Sesame Beginnings, which features Baby Big Bird and Baby Elmo, is of no benefit to young children. Children are being asked by the police to spy on their parents in the car, said the Daily Express. Police in Cleveland, Teesside, are recruiting children to be 'Seat Belt Sheriffs' and shame drivers into wearing seat belts and not talking on their mobile phones.
