New chair at Children's Workforce Development Council

The new chair of the Children's Workforce Development Council is Sir Paul Ennals, who has been chief executive of the National Children's Bureau for the past 11 years and was recently awarded a knighthood for services to children and young people. Sir Paul was the shadow chair of the CWDC when it was formed in 2005. Sir Paul said, 'I am thrilled and honoured to have been appointed Chair of CWDC. I have long believed that the transformation of the children and youth workforce is the key to improving outcomes for children and young people, and CWDC is right at the heart of that process.'
