Wash away worms
The theme for this year's Threadworm Action Week, starting on 3November, is 'Break the cycle', focusing on hand hygiene as an effectivetreatment. Around 40 per cent of children aged under ten will getthreadworms and 50 per cent will become re-infected. This year'scampaign, supported by threadworm remedy Prispen, is encouragingchildren to wash their hands more.
