Word World Animals, one of a series designed to promote young children'svocabulary development, has been nominated for an Education ResourceAward. The CD-ROM, produced by Awen, includes six interactive activitiesintroducing different animals on the farm, in the pet shop and onsafari. The software aims to develop young children's hand/eyeco-ordination, mathematical skills, computer competency and mouseskills.
