Children and staff from Little Sneakers Nursery in Studley,Warwickshire, dressed up as their favourite characters from thechildren's television show 'Fifi and the Flowertots' and decorated thenursery for a chance to win a visit from Bumble and Fifi.
- Parents win prizes
The contributions of local parents were recognised on 23 October at theLearning Trust's Hackney parents' awards held at the London Art House,Islington. Categories included Mum of the Year, won by Zeynap Olgun, andDad of the Year, won by Michael Dove. All the nominees were commendedfor demonstrating strength and determination to make a real differenceto the lives of children and young people.
