Spring has sprung

The Easter bunny has been busy visiting nurseries and pre-schools acrossthe country this month. Children from Moonacre Montessori in Verwood,Dorset received a chocolate egg from the special visitor, while childrenat Footsteps Day nursery in Tamworth, Staffordshire, Harpenden PreSchooland Nursery in Hertfordshire, and Stepping Stones in Lingley Mere madetheir own Easter bonnets. Easter egg hunts took place at Bank HillKindergarten in Leyland, Lancashire, and Blue House Day Nursery andPre-School in Croydon, Surrey. Daisy Chain Childcare at LofthouseChildren's Centre in Wakefield, Yorkshire, celebrated the holiday with awhole week of activities, including making hot-cross buns and Eastercards.

Clowning away

Children at Stanlaw Abbey Community Nursery in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire,took a bus ride to the local Civic Hall to watch a performance of theClown Circus. The nursery staff reported, 'The children sat lovely asthey watched the show and all got to have their picture taken with FizzyPop the Clown afterwards.'
