Nominations are open for the Heinemann and Nursery World Childcare Student of the Year award for students who show the potential to be a great childcare professional.
The winner will receive £350 and a year's free subscription to Nursery World, while their college will receive £350 of Heinemann vouchers. Last year's winner was Faye Hudson from Cheadle and Marple Sixth Form College. Tutor Janice West said, 'Faye's knowledge of child development and her ability to link theory to practice is outstanding.
