Professor Kathy Sylva

Professor Kathy Sylva from Oxford University's department of education has become a patron of High/Scope UK. The High/Scope approach has been used in the UK since the early 1980s. Professor Sylva presented certificates to the latest group of endorsed High/Scope trainers at the organisation's annual conference last month. Joan Norris, High/Scope UK director, said, 'We are delighted she has agreed to become our patron as she is such a strong advocate for quality in the early years.'
