Mama Bear’s Day Nursery is to open a new setting in Hanham, Bristol in January 2016.

The 55-place nursery, which will be based in a renovated Grade II listed building within Bristol’s new Hanham Hall housing development, will be Mama Bear’s 22nd setting, bringing the total number of childcare places offered by the group to 1,475.

Children who attend the new nursery, which is Mama Bear's 14th setting in Bristol, will have access to its large outdoor area as well as nearby parks, a secret garden and a nature walk area with a pond.

Bev Driffield, who owns Mama Bears along with her husband Tony, said, ‘We are so excited to be opening a new nursery in Hanham and adding to our portfolio of much-loved nurseries in Bristol.

‘This nursery will not only serve the families who will be moving to their brand new homes at Hanham Hall, but also other families living or working in the local area looking for quality childcare.

‘It will be run to the same high standards as our other nurseries. We put a massive focus on the quality of care we provide.’

She added, ‘While the nursery will not officially open until the New Year we will be taking registrations from next month. We expect this setting to be fully-subscribed.

Established in 2002, Mama Bear’s Day Nursery operates settings across Bristol, Somerset and Devon.
