- Why did you start collecting charity bags for Oxfam?

We have been an Eco-school since 2005. At this stage, we have our bronzeand silver flags and we're working towards a Green Flag Award. Therecycling officer at Ballymoney council, Declan Donnelly, has aconnection with Oxfam and he suggested we do it as part of our recyclinginitiative.

- How much did you collect?

The nursery collected 55 bags full of clothes, toys, stationery andbooks, weighing half a tonne in total. These items should raise over1,000 when sold in Oxfam shops. One bag of quality used clothescan help provide clean water for life for two people in Africa.
