Spotlight on ... Sheila Nunn, Hackleton Pre-School, Northampton

Careers & Training
Name: Sheila Nunn

Position: Volunteer at Hackleton Pre-School in Northampton

- How long have you worked at the playgroup?

I have worked at the playgroup on and off in various capacities for the past 44 years. My love of children encouraged me to work at the setting. I was already involved with fostering and initially I started on a voluntary basis at the playgroup before being made supervisor in 1968.

- What changes have you seen over the last 44 years?

The biggest change has been the introduction of Ofsted, as well as the progression in technology.

- What are your future plans?

I hope to carry on working at the playgroup for as long as I possibly can. Working with the children is wonderful and brings lots of happiness. It is the most rewarding job a person could have.
