Stop the drain

I am a qualified nursery nurse with 20 years of experience of working in the early years sector. Unfortunately things have not changed from when I first began working in childcare, and there are still the same arguments about underfunding and underpaid staff as there were then. The sad thing is that we are losing and have lost experienced childcare workers. I for one left the profession six years ago. I would love to return, but now I'm being paid a far higher salary in the private sector doing something completely different.
