Paper clips, etc: Store in a 'chest of drawers' of matchboxes glued together. Construction kits: Store bricks in small boxes, according to size, within a larger box to ease access and sorting.

Textiles: Store in a box. Wrap long pieces round cardboard tubes; put small scraps in large sweet jars.

Wood: Can be stored in same way as recyclable materials.
